About Marian

My mission is to help as many women as possible feel that they are worthy of a healthy lifestyle, that it's possible, and teach whoever wants it how to achieve it. To meet them where they are at with compassion and take one day at a time to climb the mountain they feel that they have in front of them until they begin to acquire the habits needed to get there. To be a coach that they can relate to, as I have been there myself and lost 100 lbs almost 10 years ago. Before that I did not care about my health, or exercising as much as I do now. Because I went through my own journey I can offer relatability with clients. I know what it takes to get past the things that hold you back to help you to change their habits and to move functionally so you can move well, eat well, and live well. I will help you as a partner in your health and fitness journey to create a plan that works with your lifestyle that is multifaceted through creating a plan for fitness, nutrition, and healthy habits. I will always listen and meet you where you are at so that you can get to where you want to go. I have a background in Nutrition Coaching, Corrective Exercise, Pilates, Barre, TRX, working with the Active Aging Adult population. I have several years of experience mainly coaching and training women on their journeys to making health and fitness a lifestyle. Before the pandemic I worked in the gym setting for 5 years as a personal trainer and Pilates Reformer Instructor. In the last year, I worked as an instructor at Club Pilates before venturing out on my own. I currently teach classes in my community amenity center and coach clients in person in my home fitness and Pilates studio and virtually. Personally, I am a married mom of 2 teens. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, cooking healthy and good food, home decorating, getting together with friends/family, movies. I look forward to working with you and getting to know how I can help!


My favorite client story

S. came to me stressed out and overweight with a baby and a toddler. She was having to face going to work full time and manage her family. At the time I could see that she was struggling with committing to taking care of herself and managing her life as a mom, her stress and her sleep. I told her that exercising regularly and creating a healthy lifestyle takes commitment. She would have to make some changes to her schedule to make time for herself. Was she willing to do that? She wasn't quite ready. Several months later she had made some changes. She quit her full time job and had more time for her babies. She came back and was ready. She did everything I had her do - working out with me a couple of times a week and adding some cardio to her routine a few times a week. She felt so much better - less depression, she lost weight and she was managing her time a little more effectively and she was exercising around her injuries and managing her pain level so much better. She also eventually did my nutrition coaching program and started to learn how to eat better. She is still my client to this day because she realizes she needs the accountability - more than 6 years later.

My training philosophy

I will become your partner for long term change so you can create your healthy lifestyle according to how you live your life. This requires commitment on your part as I pour into helping you. To achieve this, I believe in changing habits rather than diets that only give you short term results. This may require some paradigm shifts.

My training experience

I've been a NASM certified personal trainer for about 7 and a half years and a Pilates instructor for about 6 years. Before covid, I worked as a trainer in person in a gym setting for nearly 6 years. I also taught small group Pilates Reformer classes at the same gym and more recently at Club Pilates. I also teach barre and aqua fitness classes in my community. Since Covid, I have done personal training Zoom sessions and I currently do fitness and nutrition coaching on an app called Kickoff. I hold several certifications including Precision Nutrition, L1, Pre and Post Natal Fitness with Girls Gone Strong, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist. I enjoy working with women to achieve their health and fitness goals.
